I could not believe not only how fast it charges my Playbook but how much longer the charge lasts (abt 20%). The magnetic connector is a double edge sword. It makes connecting very easy and the break-away feature prevents damaging the Playbook. On the other hand it can easily become disconnected. I would have given it a 5 star if they would have included an micro-USB adapter to allow it charge my BB phone also.

charger. With all the Playbooks sold at the new lower price this week, they had better fix the problem asap. The one star rating

Charges the Playbook much quicker than the stock USB charger. Has a magnet in the charging plug that causes it to "grip" with the 3-pin charge port on the Playbook, so there nothing to insert or fiddle with; just get the plug near the port and they'll snap together on their own. Doesn't have the spring loaded pins of the charging pod, there's no problem with defects there. The unit uses an AC break away box, so it'll plug into any 3-prong power outlet (no need for extra space for a large box plug).

On the negative side, the charging plug itself is a bit larger/thicker than I thought it would be, about half an inch thick, so you'll need some clearance for it if you're using it with an angled case stand. Still, a very small complaint, and it's otherwise perfect.

Make sure the water and ice from your refrigerator is as clean and fresh tasting as possible by replacing its water filter. This Whirlpool water filter is used in Whirlpool, KitchenAid, and Maytag side-by-side refrigerators with quarter-turn filter access in the base grille.

 

It's NSF-certified to reduce particulates (class II), lead, mercury, and more. (The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water filter are not necessarily in all users' water.) While it effectively removes contaminants from your water and ice, this filter also lowers the taste and odor of chlorine while retaining beneficial fluoride.

Note that this water filter does not reduce the amount of cysts in your water.

For the highest quality water and ice, your refrigerator's water filter needs to be changed over a period of time as its effectiveness at cleaning the water is reduced. For optimal results, you should replace this refrigerator water filter every 6 months to ensure clean, safe drinking water and ice.

Your refrigerator will even remind you when to change its filter, turning on an indicator light found near the water dispenser. Changing the filter is easy--just locate the old filter, turn the filter one-quarter of a turn to remove and replace with the new filter.

Replacing Your Water Filter

For side-by-side refrigerators with quarter-turn filter access in the base grille, follow these instructions for replacing your filter:

  • Rotate the cap counterclockwise to a vertical position, then pull.
  • Remove the filter cap by sliding it right or left. Set aside cap. Discard old filter.
  • Remove the packaging and O-ring covers from the new filter. Slide the filter cap back onto the end. Align the ridge on the filter with the ridge on the cap to make certain it is centered.
  • Hold the assembled cap and filter unit with the handle in the vertical position and push the new filter cartridge into the opening of the base grille until it stops. Rotate the cartridge cap clockwise to a horizontal position.
  • Flush the water system until a total of 3 gallons (12 L) has been dispensed.

    I bought this to replace the Door Actuator in my 2002 Ford Explorer 4x4. Is is exactly the same as the unit I took out, minus color and guts I imagine. I didn't even have to take apart my dash to get at it. I only took off the small part of the dash under the steering wheel and then the metal brace and cut some plastic away and got right at it. It works, but slowly. I imagine the original part was faster. Also, have to put the blower on high to get it to flip the heater door. You can hear an audible clunk when the heater door flips over. I fear that without turning the fan on High when turning to heat, the gears inside the actuator will get stripped just like the original did. Perhaps a factory part would work better, but this will do for now and took me about 40 min to install.

    I went through a lot of effort to replace this part. Its a real pain. If you've done it, you know what I'm talking about. Anyway, I ordered this part and put it in and it worked for a week before it broke so I got the opportunity to do it again. This time, I went to Ford and got an OEM replacement and it was night and day difference in how they were made. The Ford OEM has been in for close to a year without a problem. YMMV.

    I have used this product for about a couple of days, and unfortunately it's too uncomfortable to wear for an extended period of time. I have particularly big ears, and since the headset is mostly hard plastic, it digs in the inner ear hole. After a 1 hour phone conversation, my ear did not feel good. I did read the instructions and fitted the ear piece properly.

    From a sound quality perspective, I could hear conversations very well. I also asked folks that I had phone calls with how they heard me and they said "fine". This is much better than the cheap headset I had in the past where people said I sounded faint. The mic boom is adjustable and doesn't get in the way. Also the controls are pretty intuitive.

    It's too bad, because this seemed like a winner to me based on the reviews.

However, carrying it around (in a backpack to-and-from work) has resulted in the microphone head to break off and the earbud housing has cracked a bit.     I used a plantronics headset at work similar to this and wore it all day with no discomfort, so when it came time to need something for home I felt comfortable buying this product.
    The 1st one I got didn't work, I spent time on the phone with they're tech support and was told that I must have a bad one and to return it for another. I waited for unit #2 and when I had it set up I encountered a different problem with that unit. I called their tech support again and again they came to the conclusion that there was something wrong with the unit. I went back to my old bulky headset for the time being.

    the only good part of the whole thing was dealing with Amazon!!! They made the whole experience of returning, replacement and refund bearable and problem free.

    I've had this opener for a year now and couldn't be more pleased. I had my doubts when I bought it, but it has worked flawlessly. I'm about to order another for a present. I was going to order the white one because it's a couple of $ cheaper, but the ratings were not as high...go figure. Just in case, I'll order the red one. No reason to knock success for a couple of $. Thing I like best is, if you don't eat everything in the can, you can just put the lid back on. No leftover dish needed, and it's easy to know what's in the can. The can also makes a great storage device. Just wash it out, put your small valuables or extra cash in it for safe keeping, and put it back in the pantry with the other canned goods. This may only work if you're the only one that opens cans...

    We got this for our church. We were able to mount it to the ceiling with no problems. People are able to see the screen with out any problems, and without turning off any lights from the back of the building. (there is a florescent light less than 2 feet in front of the screen.) Our building is 100'x60'. If you are a small church with a small congregation, this is the projector for you. We can hook up a laptop, DVD Player, or even a game console without any problems. We haven't shown videos yet, only still images. (Songs, Scripture). This is a good picture for a good price.

    Purchased the funnel style to replace a "double loop" type originally purchased. The double loop splashes much more than the funnel type. We wanted more control of the water. The funnel style is far superior in this regard.

    It is very expensive compared to a standard gutter down tube, but it creates a very unique look.

    These look really great in the winter when the ice builds up between links in the chain. And when it is raining they sound like a soft babbling brook--but not loud enough to be annoying.

    So far we haven't had any problems with durability. They handle heavy rain, and ice buildup without any problem. When it rains really hard they cups overflow a bit, but the majority of the water lands within a foot or so of the bottom. They are not very heavy, and we haven't had any leaves cause blockages.

    I read many positive (and very few negative) reviews before I ordered my first tube. I am 65 living in Florida and have been using it once daily on face and back of hands for about 4 months.     I'm so glad I returned my Skip Hop diaper bag and purchased this one instead! It's so stylish, I've received positive comments on it already! It really looks more like a purse than a diaper bag. I bought the bag in the taupe color, and like another review mentioned, the color is much darker than pictured online. The bag color is more of a dark beige, almost has a gray tone to it. The other items that came with it are nice too, with the exception of the changing pad, which I thought was a little flimsy. One other thing I wasn't too crazy about were the metal features, they were too gold/brass, but with the taupe color, I guess it didn't look too bad over all. I think it could've been toned down a little. Overall I really like this diaper bag, I'd consider purchasing another style... very chic!!

    I love this diaper bag!! It's very fashionable and most people don't realize it's a diaper bag. The leather exterior is very soft like a quality leather purse. I like that it has plenty of storage space for all of baby's needs such as diapers, wipes, toys, and bottles. And it includes great compartments for my cell phone, keys, and wallet. It also has a "mini purse" inside for my cards, cash, and make-up. Although the bag has lots of space, which can make it easy to lose things in, the compartments and hanging clasps have kept me very organized. I would definitely recommend this bag to the mom who needs a good diaper bag that doesn't look like one.

    The table is very classy looking and fuctional. It was pretty easy to put together, and is a great addition. We use it as a "mud room/entry way" area, with baskets below it for shoes, hats, gloves, etc. It looks like there are four drawers, but there are actualy two drawers (each with two handles). Definitely a great value for a very nice looking table. Very sturdy.

    I looked online at reviews for many different soft structured carriers. I had tried the front carriers like baby bjorn but those are not useful once baby gets heavy, so for my 10 month old who weighs 20 pounds I wanted a back carrier. I looked into Ergo also but because the Beco Gemini also does hip carry, front outward/inward carry, in addition to back carry so I chose the Gemini. I hadn't known anyone who had it but decided to buy and I think it was a a good choice. My 10 month old at first was nervous and fussy because he had never been in a back carrier. But after walking him around it a few times he now loves it, smiles, and is so comfortable that he falls alseep while in back carry mode. I also have an infant and like the choice to have infant face inward in front carry (without infant insert like other carriers) and later have chance to do front facing out with my infant too. My 10 month old is very happy/comfortable in it, the gemini is lightweight but feels very sturdy and is easy to use, while sitting on a couch with baby behind you nestled in the carrier seat you can load your baby into back carry mode without anyone else's help. Ergo cannot do front facing out (but some people don't think that position is good because of excess stimulation) or front inward without infant insert, Gemini can do those and more. It seemed to have the most versatility and I like it so far, it's easier that carrying him in my arms for long periods of time. My back doesn't hurt at all. My nanny also easily uses it to back carry and so does my spouse who are all different body shapes and heights. It's also very compact when rolled up and easy to take anywhere.

    I have four kids, and I'm a big-time fan of baby-wearing. When I had my first twelve years ago, I was given a Snugli, which was awkward and uncomfortable. With my second, I got a Baby Bjorn. Cuter, fun when she wanted to face forward in front, but still super uncomfortable. With my third, I bought an Ergo. The comfort level was much better, but I didn't like the taco-shaped "infant insert" -- it always felt a bit dangerous to me -- and there was no way for my daughter to face forward when I had her in front. And truthfully, it can't be that interesting to always be facing the back of my head, can it? Anyway, the dog chewed a strap on my Ergo, so with my fourth, I decided to buy a Beco Baby Gemini. I LOVE it! It's so comfortable. Not only is the weight distributed on my hips, but the straps cross the back which I think is better than with the Ergo. Plus, baby can face front. And I didn't have to worry or fuss with the infant insert. Also, this is a matter of personal preference, but I like how the Beco is made in the USA, while the Ergo is "responsibly" made in China. I like to support US-made products whenever I can.

    Anyway... Perfect! I highly recommend the Beco Baby Gemini for anyone wanting a soft-structure carrier. (For pouch-style, I have Hotslings, but not sure they're being made any more.)

    This carrier is wonderful! Everywhere I go, people ask what it is and where I got it. It is so comfortable and easy to get on and off and my son (who is 14 mos.) loves being in it. I usually use the front carry, but he is getting bigger, so I will probably use the hip and back carry more. I looked at carriers for a while (I used a Bjorn when my kids where very little, but they outgrew it so quickly) and after reading a lot of reviews, I chose this one and I'm glad I did! This is a must have for any mom.
